Why the Right Colors On Your Website Are So Important

Color is all around us. Everywhere we look, we see a remarkable array of hues and shades. Most every person has a favorite color, one they prefer over other colors. It’s not surprising to discover that the use of color in advertising can enhance or detract from your marketing message. Web Colors

Let’s take a look at an example. Red is a powerful color that can be powerful when used in moderation, but overbearing when over-used. Red is the color of passion and action. Use it as an accent color to draw attention to important parts of your site, such as buttons that entice them to purchase or click.

Now let’s take a look at the color red’s polar opposite — green. Green is the color of grass, trees and of course, money. Green indicates a level of safety and offers the quiet assurance that passionate red does not. It also invokes a feeling of abundance. Then there’s blue. Did you know that the color blue acts as an appetite suppressant? It’s an awful color for food-related products, but it’s perfect for the corporate world.

As you can see, different colors have different associations for the human brain. Consult with a knowledgeable graphic designer to create the most effective color scheme for your site.

Giving Away Graphics

Well, I could honestly say that if you are having a tough time getting some cash for your services, I can tell you I understand. Infact, it’s down right hard to earn a living off design for myself. I am sure web graphics and web / blog design is a lucrative market - it’s just marketing yourself and generating traffic that does the work in getting you paid.

So rather than give my services for free to promote myself, I am going to barter with you. If you can:

> do some SEO or marketing on my site

> offer a good backlink

> offer a few great articles or

> propose a worthwile JV to me,

I will design you either a
header
banner
e-book cover or
logo for free - thats it!

For a logo you could be paying over $250, headers and banners can be well over $75 and e-book covers can reach that price also. This offer will only last until next Wednesday, so get in quick. I suspect there will be a few who may miss out…

Design Mixes Well With Marketing

Marketing and Graphic / Web Design go hand in hand. Every good marketing campaign has a set of good images - a quality marketing strategy will include quality graphics. How do I know this?
Well, of late I have been negotiating JV proposals with a top internet marketer. Why did he take so much interest about what I could do?
Because my designs compliment his content. This guy knows a multitude about marketing, but he doesn’t have much idea about the design industry. Put it this way  - if you want to sell yourself, you must not only speak well, but present well.

Don’t fall into the habit of thinking basic graphic sets will be enough. Whatever you’re selling, make sure the design speaks for itself. If they only scan through the content, at least they can see that you take a professional approach - no beating around the bush!
